Lives lived with hope, every day, in every way
Hopelands Village aims to provide a holistic residential lifestyle for orphaned and abandoned children in South Africa.
About us
hopelands
Hopelands has a home in Magaliesburg for abandoned and vulnerable babies and toddlers, that has been approved by the Department of Health and the Department of Social Development to accommodate 13 babies/toddlers aged 0-3 years of age from all races.
Our heart is to ensure we raise these babies/toddlers to be champions, so they can dream again.
Founders
Founders Stephen and Sharon Lamprecht are committed to the vision and mission of Hopelands and endeavour daily to lead the organisation to success.
Pastors Stephen and Sharon, have vast social experience and after spending a number of years in the corporate sector became full-time pastors and enjoyed over 40 years serving in the ministry.
Pastors Stephen and Sharon are assembling a strong, strategically relevant team to make Hopelands and the dream a reality.
Our Story
Pastors Stephen and Sharon are always inspired by the following Bible verse in James 1:27 (NKJV) Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.
Passion to care for orphans, abandoned, and vulnerable children began when Co-Founder, Stephen Lamprecht visited Watoto, Uganda in 2004. He was overwhelmed with what he experienced there and over the years, this passion kept growing in his and Sharon’s hearts.
