Giving

South Africa has a landscape of multiple informal settlements. Surrounding our small town of Magaliesburg it is no different.

In one such settlement in Tarlton lives Phumzile Modiko. She did her matric in 2020 and has been trying to register at a university to further her education.

Towards the end of 2022 she approached us requesting a testimonial to submit to University of South Africa (UNISA) to register for a degree.

Upon further enquiries Hopelands managed to source funding for her to register for the academic year of 2023. The source of funding has agreed to fully cover all course fees, books and additional tuition.

We wish Phumzile all the best as she is the first in her family to embark on such a venture to improve her education.

Again Hopelands lives up to our motto, “Lives lived with Hope”.
