“It is possible for victims of child abuse and poverty to rise out above their trauma. Victims can find solutions within and outside of themselves. Take responsibility for your own healing however, never reject someone who wants to provide a helping hand.”

Hopelands Village represents such a “helping hand”!
Whilst waiting for its property in Magaliesburg to be rezoned in order to commence with the building of its facilities and childrens’ residences, the team at Hopelands Village decided not to sit around idle. Earlier this year, they launched the Hopelands Village Homework Centre at the Magalies River Christian Centre (MRCC) situated close to the Magaliesburg Central Business District (CBD). This was a case of one “helping hand”, helping another!
This home-work centre has already benefited those who attend namely, a group of between 15 to 21 children in grades from both primary- and high school. Children have shown interest and love for this home-work centre as they make good use of the facilities whilst receiving enthusiastic assistance from the staff.
You too can touch the lives of children who need assistance. Do you have time, skills, knowledge and resources to share? If yes, consider taking hands with the Hopelands Village team and help secure a bright future, full of hope, for the children with whom it engages.
