Hopelands is a start-up, non-profit, social-service organisation founded in 2018. It aims to alleviate the orphan calamity.

Founders Stephen and Sharon Lamprecht are committed to the vision and mission of Hopelands and endeavour daily to lead the organisation to success.

The founders revealed the future plans for their Hopelands Village in Hekpoort on Saturday, 18 August.

Magalies River Christian Centre (NPC) has generously donated 19 hectares of land in the Cradle of Humankind to build the first prototype Hopelands orphan village for 240 children.

Stephen has vast social experience and after spending a number of years in the corporate sector, he became a full-time pastor and enjoyed over 20 years serving in the ministry. Stephen and Sharon are assembling a strong, strategically relevant team to make Hopelands and the dream a reality.

Hopelands’ mission is to build self-sustaining villages where orphaned children can be placed into a family environment and to create a place where they will receive unconditional love, care, nurturing and spiritual discipleship.

The village is still in the planning phase, but donations towards the cause can already be made. how to find the articular www.krugersdorpnews.co.za
